Small annotations can be very helpful for the second-hand viewers of your analyses in ANSYS® Mechanical. With these annotations, you can guide your viewers about your analyses that you have done in ANSYS® Mechanical. Here, we will show you how to add small annotations in ANSYS® Mechanical.
To add very basic annotations on your geometry in ANSYS® Mechanical, click on the command that is shown by the green arrow above.
After entering into the command, click on the required place that you want to add your annotation as shown by the red arrow above in ANSYS® Mechanical. Then write the description of this annotation from the place that is shown by the green arrow above.

If you want to add a timestamp for it, click on the place as shown in the green box above.
As you see above, you can add multiple small annotations on your geometry in ANSYS® Mechanical, and also you can edit your annotations from the ‘Graphics Annotations’ section as shown by the green arrow above.
