Step 1: Open the downloaded ANSYS® R20 folder from your local disc and open the ANSYS® R19 setup.exe like shown by the red arrow from the below screenshot.
Step 2: After clicking on the ANSYS® R20 setup exe. Select the language from the red box shown below and click on the Install ANSYS® Products to start the installation steps of Ansys® R20 to your computer in the Ansys® Installation Launcher.
Step 3: There will be a window appeared that shows the license agreement of ANSYS® R20. To go on to the installation of ANSYS® R20, click I agree like in the red box then click the Next button as shown by the red arrow below the screenshot.
Step 4: After that, select the installation directory of ANSYS® R20 in your computer like in the red box then click Next like shown by the red arrow below screenshot.
Step 5: If you have a rush, you could choose the ‘Skip this step and configure later’ and click next to go on to the installation of ANSYS® R20 as shown in the red arrow below. But you need to copy and paste your computer user name to the Hostname section that is shown by the red box, then click on the next button to go on ANSYS® R20 installation on your computer.
Step 6: In this window, you could select from the various tools of ANSYS® R19 from the given list by clicking on them according to your requirements, there is information about disk space. Then you could click on the Next button to go on ANSYS® R19 installation.
Step 7: You could skip CAD configurations of ANSYS® R20 in your computer by selecting the ‘No. Skip configuration. I will configure later’ like in the red box below and click the next button as shown by the red arrow to go on to the installation of ANSYS® R20 in your computer.

Step 8: This is a very summary of the installation of ANSYS® R19 on your computer. Click on the Next to go on to the installation of ANSYS® R19 like in the red arrow.
Step 9: The installation process of ANSYS® R20 is started on your computer. When it is asked, insert the DVD 2 to the same disk and go on to the ANSYS® R20 installationç Wait till the end of the installation process of ANSYS® R20 then click next to finish it.
Step 10: After clicking on the Next button, then click on the Exit button shown with the red arrow to complete the installation process of ANSYS® R20.
Step 11: After the installation process of ANSYS® R20 is finished on your computer, click on the exit button in the ANSYS® Installation Launcher as shown by the red arrow.
