You know that the element size factor is very important in ANSYS® meshing. Usually(not every time) when you have a smaller mesh size, you will have a much finer mesh structure also which means high-quality finite element analysis(FEA) with ANSYS®. In this article, we will show you how to change the Element Size of mesh structure in ANSYS® Mechanical.
You can enter an element size value as shown by the red arrow.
After entering an Element Size value as shown in the red box below, then click on Generate Mesh as shown by the red arrow above in ANSYS® Mechanical.
So we obtained a 2mm element sized mesh structure as above in ANSYS® Mechanical.
As you understand that the changing element size in ANSYS® Mechanical Meshing is very basic.
