Changing The Element Size In ANSYS Meshing(Iluustrated Expression)

You know that the element size factor is very important factor in ANSYS meshing. Usually(not everytime) when you have smaller mesh size, you will have much more finer mesh structure also which means high quality finite element analysis(FEA) with ANSYS. In this article we will show you how to change the Element Size of mesh structure in ANSYS Mechanical.

How To Change Element Size Of Mesh Structure In ANSYS?

Click on ‘Mesh’ tab then change the Element Size.

You can enter an element size value as shown by red arrow.

Click on ‘Generate Mesh’.

After entering an Element Size value as shown in red box below, then click on Generare Mesh as shown by red arrow above in ANSYS Mechanical.

The changed Element Size value of ANSYS Meshing.

So we obtained 2mm element sized mesh structure as above in ANSYS Mechanical.

As you understand that the changing element size in ANSYS Mechanical Meshing is very basic.
