Drawing Polygon In AutoCAD Sketching(Illustrated Expression)

Polygons are very important things in Geometry or Maths also very important in mechanics or technical drawings. When you are making your technical or mechanical drawings in AutoCAD, Polygon command is widely used by you. In this article we will show you how to draw polygons in various sides in Autocad.

How To Draw Polygons In Autocad?

Click on ‘Polygon’ command in Autocad.

To draw polygons in Autocad, click on little pop up menu as shown by green arrow above then click on ‘Polygon’ command as shown in green box above.

Enter the number of sides of your polygon in Autocad.

You need to enter the number of sides of your polygon as shown by green arrow above in Autocad. Then press ‘Enter’ in your keyboard to start drawing polygon.

Select one of drawing options for Polygon in Autocad.
Incribed in circle option for polygon in Autocad.

Inscribed In Circle: You can draw your polygon in Autocad by defining the corner place in drawing scheme as shown by gree arrow above.

Circumscribed about circle drawing option for Polygon command.

Circumscribed About Circle: You can draw your polygon we defining the place of polygon edge’s middle section as shown by green arrow above in Autocad.

You can enter radius value of these drawing options of polygon in Autocad.

You can enter a radius value to draw polygons with these drawing options in Autocad.
