Explanation Of Equal Curve Length Relation In Solidworks Sketching(Illustrated Expression)

Giving relations in Solidworks sketching is very important thing when you are creating your sketches to obtain 3D geometries in Solidworks. Working with relations in Solidworks sketching is much more easy. In this article, we will explain one of these relations in Solidworks sketching called ‘Equal Curve Length’ with a very basic example below.

How To Use Equal Curve Lemgth Relation In Solidworks Sketching?

Sketch entities in Solidworks.

For example, we want to make these two of sketch entities in equal length in Solidworks sketching. What we need to do is, just click on either geometries by pressing Rshift button from your keyboard.

Select ‘Equal Curve Length’ option in Solidworks sketching.

After selecting the required sketch entites, just select the ‘Equal Curve Length’ option as shown by red arrow above in Solidworks sketching. Then click on little green yes button as shown by blue arrow above.

Equal Curve Length is used at Solidworks sketching.

As you see above, the arc length of circle and line is made as equal in Solidworks sketching.

Making sketch entities as equal length in Solidworks is very easy like above. Do not forget to leave your comments and questions about ‘Making curve entities as equal lengths in Solidworks sketching’ below!
