First Layer Thickness Inflation Option In ANSYS Meshing(Illustrated Expression)
You can define your boundry wall mesh structure in ANSYS Meshing with various inflation options. Also you can define the layered mesh structure with Fisrt Layer Thickness inflation option in ANSYS Meshing. In this article we will explain;
- What is First Layer Thickness inflation option in ANSYS Meshing?
- How to adjust First Layer Thickness inflation option in ANSYS Meshing?
What Is First Layer Thickness Inflation Option In ANSYS Meshing?
To select First Layer Thickness for inlflation option, click on Mesh tab as shown by green arrow above then click on the Inflation section as shown by red arrow, then select the Inlflation Option as First Layer Thickness as shown in red box above.
First Layer Thickness option creates inflation mesh structure by using first layer height, maximum layers and growth rate values that entered by the user in ANSYS Meshing.
First Layer Height: Enter a height value of the first face layer inflation mesh structure.
Maximum Layers: Enter a number of layers that you want to create in inflation mesh.
Growth Rate: Rate of increment in each adjacent layers in inflation meshing.
The inlflation mesh will be created according to these values that you entered in First Layer Thickness inflation option in ANSYS Meshing.
This is the general explanation of First Layer Thickness inflation meshing in ANSYS Mesher.
