How To Create An Axis In Siemens NX(Illustrated Expression)
Coordinate system are generally utilized in Siemens NX CAD users but also they are much more important in UG CAM. To obtain a very professional CAD designs in Siemens NX, you need to understand general working principle of coordinate systems in Siemens NX. In this text we will show you how to create coordinate systems in Siemens NX by using Datum CSYS command. You could create special coordinate systems by following the steps below.
How to create coordinate systems in Siemens NX? How coordinate systems are created in Siemens NX? What is the coordinate system in Siemens NX? How is the creation of coordinate systems in Siemens nx? Which command creates coordinate systems in Siemens NX? How can i use Datum CSYS in Siemens NX? How to use Datum CSYS in Siemens NX?
To create a coordinate system in Siemens NX, you need to click on the Datum CSYS command as shown by red arrow above.
As you can see there are bunch of methods to create a coordinate system in Siemens NX, and you could place your new coordinate system dynamically that you could do your placement with arrows in screen as shown by red arrows, also you could do angular placement by using the handles as shown by green arrows. You could also input X,Y and Z values and angular values to place your new coordinate system in Siemens NX.
Inferred: It is the most general method to create a coordinate system in Siemens NX.
Origin, X-Point, Y-Point: You could input your X and Y places of your new coordinate system in Siemens NX.
X- Axis, Y-Axis and Origin: You could select the X and Y orientations of new coordinate system by selecting lines or edges for them individually. And you select the center of your nwe coordinate system in Siemens NX.
Z- Axis, X-Axis and Origin: You could select the Z and X orientations of new coordinate system by selecting lines or edges for them individually. And you select the center of your nwe coordinate system in Siemens NX.
Z- Axis, Y-Axis and Origin: You could select the Z and Y orientations of new coordinate system by selecting lines or edges for them individually. And you select the center of your nwe coordinate system in Siemens NX.
Plane, X-Axis, Point: You could define your new coordinate system’s place by selecting a plane, orientation of X- Axis by selecting a edge or line and a point to place your coordinate system in Siemens NX.
Plane, Y-Axis, Point: You could define your new coordinate system’s place by selecting a plane, orientation of Y- Axis by selecting a edge or line and a point to place your coordinate system in Siemens NX.
Three Planes: You could select three of planes in drawing scheme in Siemens NX to create your corrdinate system.
Absolute CSYS: You can create a coordinate system in absolute point.
You select your reference point of your new coordinate system as in green box in Siemens NX. The placement of new coordinate system will be done according to selected reference.
WCS: Selecting world coordinate system as reference to create your new coordinate system in Siemens NX.
Absolute-Displayed Part: You could select a absolute point of the part as a reference of your new coordinate system in Siemens NX.
Selected CSYS: You could do your placement of your new coordinate system in Siemens NX by selecting a another coordinate system as reference.
Also you could click on the Point Dialog as shown by green box to place your coordinate system by entering X, Y and Z values according to your selected reference.
After entering your X,Y and Z values, click OK to complete your placement of your new coordinate system.
If your done with your placemens adjustments of your new coordinate system, you clşck OK or Applt as shown by green box. Also you could adjust your coordinate system’s dimensions by entering a scale factor as shown by green arrow.
Our new coordinate system is created in Siemens NX by using Datum CSYS as shown by green arrow.
