How To Obtain Fillet Geometries In Solidworks?

Consider about a situation that you want to obtain fillet structures on the corners on this geometry in Solidworks.

Click on Fillet command in Solidworks

You need to open the Fillet command as shown by blue arrow above to start the fillet operation in Solidworks.

As you can see there are various Fillet types in the Fillet command of Solidworks in the blue box above. You can select one of them for your fillet operation;

Adjust filleting parameters

First one: You can obtain standart fillet geometries by selecting 3D geometry edges in drawing scheme. You could select your filet edges in the green box as shown by green arrow above in Fillet command. You can enter a Fillet radius basically and you could select Asymmetric from blue box to enter two of fillet radius value to obtain gradually increasing radius valued fillet geometry as shown by blue arrows and blue box.

The second type fillet method application

In the second type of Fillet feature, you choose your edges to fillet from blue box region. Then you can enter the various start and end radius values to shown places with blue arrows to obtain your very specific fillet structure.

To understand the working principle the third one fillet type, you need to select a face from blue box region as shown by bule arrows above. In the second face selection region, you select your faces according to edges between these edges to be filleted as shown by green arrows. You can adjust your radius values also as above in Fillet command in Solidoworks.
