Minimum and maximum probes are very useful to show the minimum and maximum deformation or other physical values in ANSYS® Mechanical analyses. Here, we will show you how to add maximum and minimum probes in ANSYS® Mechanical with a very basic example below.
How To Add Maximum And Minimum Probes In ANSYS® Mechanical?
You can add minimum, maximum, and user-defined probes from the section that is shown in the red box above in ANSYS® Mechanical. From right to left, you can directly add a maximum deformation probe, minimum deformation probe, and user-defined probe.
At the above deformation analysis example in ANSYS® Mechanical, we added maximum and minimum probes by activating them as shown by the red and green arrows above. Also, we added deformation probes by activating the last one as shown by magenta arrows. Just click on part to see the deformation at that point.
You can deactivate them to get rid of these probes.
As you see above adding probes is very simple in ANSYS® Mechanical.
