Options Of Viewing Contours In ANSYS Analysis Results
Minimum and mximum probes are very useful to show minimum and maximum deformation or other physical values in ANSYS Mechanical analyses. In here, we will show you how to add maximum and minimum probes in ANSYS Mechanical with a very basic example below.
You can add minimum, maximum and user defined probes from section that is shown in red box above in ANSYS Mechanical. From right to left, you can directly add maximum deformation probe, minimum deformation probe and user defined probe.
At above deformation analysis example in ANSYS Mechanical, we added maximum and minimum probes by activating them as shown by red and green arrows above. Also we added deformation probes by activating the last one as shown by magenta arrows. Just click on part to see teh deformation at that point.
You can deactivate them to get rid of these probes.
