In this article we will show how to move objects is Autocad 2D. This is very useful feature of Autocad that you can move or displace a selected objects or drawing to another section of drawing scheme. Moving objects are performed by ‘Move’ command in Autocad.
To move objects, click on ‘Move’ command as shown by red arrow above in Autocad.
After entering to the ‘move’ command, click the objects that you want to move in Autocad drawing scheme.
After selecting the object that needed to be moved, right click on screen to end the selection, then select the reference point of the movement as shown by red arrow above in Autocad.
You can place the selected objects to a desired point by picking from the selected reference point as shown by red arrow above in Autocad. Click to finish the moving with ‘Move’ command in Autocad.
Use of ‘Move’ command is very simple like that in Autocad as you see.
