Relevance Center Of ANSYS® Mechanical Meshing(Illustrated Expression)

The relevance center option of ANSYS® Meshing can be simply called ‘resolution’. You can change this resolution value according to your system and computational power. In this article, we will show you how to change the relevance center of a mesh structure in ANSYS® Mechanical.

How To Change Relevance Center In ANSYS® Mechanical Meshing?

Select a Relevance Center value for meshing in ANSYS® Mechanical.

Click on the ‘Mesh’ tab as shown by the red box above, then adjust the relevance center value as shown by the red arrow above.

Coarse: The coarser mesh structure will be obtained with a lesser number of mesh elements in ANSYS® Mechanical.

Medium: Medium-sized mesh structure will be obtained.

Fine: Finer mesh structure is obtained with this selection in ANSYS® Mechanical.

Relevance Center value is selected as Coarse; This is the obtained mesh structure in ANSYS® Mechanical.

Relevance Center value is selected as Medium; This is the obtained mesh structure in ANSYS® Mechanical. You can see that it is a little bit finer compared with the Coarse one.

Relevance Center value is selected as Fine; This is the obtained mesh structure in ANSYS® Mechanical. You can see that it is the finest mesh structure around other Relevance Center options.

Conclusion

So you understand the logic of Relevance Center in ANSYS® Mechanical Meshing.
