By default, when you draw lines or other 2D objects in Autocad with thicker or thinner lineweights, program does not display these lineweights. How To Show Lineweights In AutoCAD Drawings?
Problem occurs like above in Autocad. We adjusted the lineweigth as 1mm as shown by green arrow, which is a very thick lineweight. But when we draw a line or sketch as shown by red arrow, real, thick lineweight is not shown.
To overcome this situation, right click on drawing scheme in Autocad, then click on ‘Options’ as shown by red arrow above.
In ‘Options’, click on ‘User Preferences’ menu as shown in red box above. Inside this menu, click on ‘Lineweight Settings’ as shown by green arrow.
In ‘Lineweight Settings’, tick the ‘Display Lineweight’ as shown by green arrow above. Then click on ‘Apply&Close’ to complete it.
As you see that, problem is solved. The real lineweight is shown in Autocad.
