Use Of Span Angle Center Option In ANSYS Meshing
To adjust the Span Angle Center, click on ‘Mesh’ tab as shown by red arrow above then click on little pop up menu at Span Angle Center section as shown by red box above, then select a option such as, Coarse, Medium and Fine.
Span Angle Center option is the curvature mesh refinement. Mesh structure divided into curved regions until individual mesh elements span this curvature angle. You can choose one out of three choices as;
Coarse: 91-60 degrees of angle will be spanned.
Medium: 75-24 degrees of angle will be spanned.
Fine: 36-12 degrees of angle will be spanned in the mesh structure.
The mesh will be finer in curvature regions if you select lower angle valus for Span Angle Center option in ANSYS Meshing.
