Start, Center, Length Arc Drawing Command In AutoCAD(Illustrated Expression)

In this article of Mechanical Base, we will show how to draw or sketch an arc with Start, Center, Length arc drawing command in Autocad. In some cases you need to draw very specific arcs, and Autocad provides very useful arc drawing commands in itself. One of these commands is Start, Center, Length Arc command.

How To Use Start, Center, Length Arc Command In AutoCAD?

 Click on Click on Start, Center, Length Arc command in Autocad.

To open the command, click on little pop-up menu as shown by red arrow above then click on the Start, Center, Length command as shown in red box.

Specify the starting point first in Start, Center, Length command.

After entering into the command, specify the starting point of arc as shown by green arrow above, that you need to draw, then the cursor location will be the center point of your arc as shown by red arrow in Autocad.

Enter the arc length value in Start, Center, Length arc in AutoCAD.

We selected the first point of our arc as starting point as shown by red arrow above then we selected our center point in Autocad drawing scheme. To complete the arc drawing, enter the arc length as shown in red box above. Also you can define your arc length by dragging your mouse cursor.
