Defining Remote Force That Changes With Time In ANSYS® Mechanical(Illustrated Expression)
In this article of Mechanical Base, we will show you about how to create circles that tangents to 2 objects in Autocad drawing scheme by entering a Radius value to it. In Mechanical Base, we expressed the whole commands of Autocad 2d, so you can learn the use of Autocad 2d by reading articles from Mechanical Base about Autocad’s drawing commands. This kind of circle drawing method is very useful to obtain circles that tangents to other drawing features. It is very hard to obtain this kind of circles without Tan, Tan, Radius circle command in Autocad.

Think about a situation occured that you need to draw a circle that must be tangent to these lines as shown by greeen line above in Autocad. In this kinds of cases, you need to use Tan, Tan, Radius circle command in AutoCAD.
You need to click on the pop-up menü as shown by green arrow above then click on the Tan, Tan, Radius circle command as shown by green arrow above to create circles in Autocad.
After entering to the Tan,Tan,Radius circle command, you need to specify the first tangent feature as shown by green arrow above by clicking on it.
After clicking on the first tangent, you need to select the second tangent line in Tan, Tan, Radius circle command in Autocad as shown by the green arrow above.
After specifying the second tangent line in Tan, Tan, Radius command, enter a Radius value as shown in green box above to create the desired circle geometry in Autocad.
So we entered a Radius value of 1000 and we obtained a geometry like above.
Drawing these kinds of circle geometries is very easy like that with Tan, Tan, Radius command in Autocad.
