Basic Explanation Of Viscoelasticity On Polymers
Inflation options are very useful to define the mesh structure according to the uploaded geometry into the ANSYS®. You can adjust your mesh layer inflation options in ANSYS® Meshing very easily. In this article, we will show you how to adjust the inflation option to Total Thickness in ANSYS® Meshing. Also, you will learn the working principle of the Total Thickness inflation option in ANSYS® Meshing.
To adjust the inflation option to Totaş Thickness, click on the ‘Mesh’ tab as shown by the red arrow above then click on the Inflation section as shown by the green arrow. Then select the Inflation Option as Total Thickness as shown in the green box in ANSYS® Meshing.
Total Thickness option in ANSYS® Meshing creates inflated layers by using the entered number of layers and growth rate to obtain maximum thickness value.
Number Of Layer: Total layers that you want to have in your layered mesh structure.
Growth Rate: The rate of increments in adjacent mesh elements starting from the selected face.
Maximum Thickness: The thickness value of the layered mesh structure in ANSYS® Meshing. This thickness value will be achieved with the Number of Layers and Growth Rate values that you entered.
This is the general logic of Total Thickness in the inflation option in ANSYS® Meshing.
